Architecture should
answer an objective.
Sometimes that objective is financial. Sometimes it is personal. Our work starts by establishing which one.
Marc Jurdak Architects is a Beirut renovation studio working across architecture, real estate and design. We were formed around one observation: most renovation goes wrong not because of taste, but because nobody stated the objective before the work started.
For investment properties we design around value, efficiency and market position. For private spaces we design around people, atmosphere and experience. Same architectural rigour. Different objective — and we name it in the first meeting, in writing.
The studio takes a limited number of projects at a time and stays on site. Design that is not supervised becomes something else by the time it is built.

Value
We design around what the market pays for, and say plainly what it does not.
Experience
Living
We design around how one household actually uses a day.
